Do you love free download codes for Bandcamp albums, but dread having to find one that's still good?
Do you see a list of codes and wish you could go right to the one that is available to be redeemed?
Are you tired of seeing the message that says, "This code has been redeemed too many times?"
Then you need to install Yummify!!
Get started by clicking below!!
Yummify is a free no-hassle extension for the Firefox web browser which lets you quickly find which codes are still available to redeem.
Below you'll find my step-by-step instructions for how to install Yummify, and how to use it to find good Bandcamp download codes.
You'll need to have a computer with the Firefox web browser to use free extension.
It's a little tricky to set up, but it's a huge time-saver and you'll be glad you installed it!
I've been using it for several years, and it appears to be safe to use without any sneaky tracking bullshit going on.
How to install Yummify:
- Install the free Firefox web browser on your computer. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/download
- Open Firefox and go to this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yumify/
- Click INSTALL.
- You'll notice that Yummify has added an icon in your Firefox icon bar (usually to the right of the URL address bar).
- You're ready to find free codes!!
How to use Yummify:
- Select and copy a list of Bandcamp download codes. (ULTRA TIP BELOW!!)
- Go to the link to redeem the codes (this ends in /yum). You can use this link to redeem ANY codes from ANY band or label: https://bandcamp.com/yum
- Click the icon in your Firefox toolbar for Yummify to open it.
- Paste the list of codes into the text field.
- Click on SUBMIT CODES!
- The next available code appears on the page!!
- Super Pro Tip: select the box for "Join the artist's mailing list" to be sure to get their next message when they send out more codes.
How to easily copy a list of codes:
If you're in the Bandcamp app, you can't easily copy a list of codes. So let's say you get a message in the Bandcamp app which has a bunch of codes, but you want to copy the list so you can paste the list into Yummify in Firefox. Here's how:
- Open up the Bandcamp web site in a web browser.
- Search for the band or label which sent you the codes in a message.
- Look for the artist's "Community" tab, or simply add "/community" to the end of their URL in the address bar of your web browser. For example, here's mine: https://fuzzycircuits.bandcamp.com/community
- Find the message which they had sent to your Bandcamp app.
- Now you can copy the list of codes to your computer clipboard.
- And now you can use Yummify to find an available code using the steps above.
