Marco Di Stasio -- Lost In Time album review by Fuzzy Cracklins

Marco Di Stasio -- Lost In Time
Marco Di Stasio -- Lost In Time
Darn if those gators aren't making a fuss again, and they sure get cranky in the late summer heat. Must be another Marco Di Stasio instrumental metal album drop....  Stream the album for free and read Fuzzy Cracklin's review of the instrumental metal album Lost In Time by Marco Di Stasio below...

It starts of with a bit of heavy doom riffs, a bit in the style of Walk in Desert but soon gets into its own melody. This 30 minute track keeps you sonically in touch by mixing up the riffs and melodies without repeating itself. Most of Marco's albums are meant to be heard as if the 5 or 6 tracks make up a single song, and in this case that is exactly what he as done.

Or more to the point, there are seven tracks on the album, and also a bonus full track which is the entire album as one track.

If you haven't given Marco's music a try, you will find you can't put your finger exactly on his style ... sure there is a lot of metal guitar work going on, maybe even getting close to a hint of thrash at times, but there is a lot more going on musically than with your typical shred fest. Give him a listen for yourself.

What I like about this track is that it has the variety and energy of a jam, but there is a cohesion and direction to it because ... well, it's not improvised. At least that is how it sounds to me. And in case you missed them .... earlier this week Marco released his Best Of albums from the past few years. Each of them has one track from each of the albums of that year --
